How to Play MIDI Files?

There are many ways to play midi files, starting from laptops or computers at home by using midi player software such as vanbasco software. This is a free software can be downloaded on the official website or can find it at www.geraimidi.com, for my opinion, this midi player software is the most complete and perfect, because many features what you needed such as changing transpose, pitch, karaoke lyrics display, changing background as you wish etc, it same like the features on the keyboard or you can also play midi files online on internet through sites that provide midi player on their website. For the better sound, midi files should be played on keyboards that already support MIDI player, because many keyboard manufacturers cannot support MIDI player, usually it's only an entry level keyboard, it can only play the default MIDI file from the keyboard manufacturer, and can not played from other sources such as from a USB flashdisk, i am a loyal user of Yamaha brand keyboard, i am still loyal to use the PSR S950 type, because this type special for professional use, the features are sophisticated and very qualified to support my workshop as a player and midi sequencer, back to  our topic of discussion, the midi sound played clearly is very much different from what is played on a computer, because on the keyboard there is hardware that can convert midi sound to be more realistic like audio sound, it is definitely great and the sound produced is like a band of music playing, so i recommended midi files played on the keyboard, regardless of brand or type keyboard that support midi files player, the kind of midi files can be played is must be GM files (General Midi), because there are several types of midi files that can only be played on certain keyboards, depending on the source of the keyboard where the midi files are made, personally i do not make midi files on the keyboard, but using the MIDI controller, connected to the recording software, sometimes i also use the Yamaha keyboard sound just for needed, after the sound made from Yamaha keyboard, then i convert into a GM files at DAW, so his files can be played on all brands of keyboards
